Hello, long time reader, first time posting.... I have a 2004 foreman 450s. I have just put a FMF Powerline pipe and a K&N filter on it. I let a local shop here put a 135 oem main in it last weekend, but I do not believe he bothered with tuning it at all. I let them do it because I did not want to have to tune it, but now I do not believe I want to take it back to them.
Here is how it is running - Smooth at idle, seems strong throughout low and mid range, but slower at top end. I raced a friend of mine with exact set up except stock pipe and filter and he walks past me in fourth and fifth gear. I pulled my plug yesterday and found it is running very rich. We are going to go ahead and tear into the carb today and see exactly what they did do. Any thoughts on my situation? I do not believe they touched the needle or air mixture screw..... We'll see anyway.

Are you running a snorkel, if not the the #135 is to big.

No, I'm not. I had read that others used a 135 without a snorkel. Do you think that's the first problem I have?
most are running a #132 without a snorkel

Ok, I'll have to get one. What do you have to do to turn the carb in order to work on it? Which way do you turn it?
