jetting problems

hey guys, im having a problem, see i have a jet kit and i cant ajust the fuel ratio because i cant find the pilot screw on my 2005 rubi. now i asked dynojet and they sent me a skimatic of a 2004 and still it wasnt the same, i asked my dealer as well and they didnt even know what i was talking about and they still dont even have the in detail service manual. thanks for any tips you guys can give me .

are you sure its the pilot jet you want to change?

whats up man, see what it show in the original sheet is that i have to ajust the fuel mixture and it says to ajust the pilot screw
yeah you dont want to be messing with the pilot jet. You want to adjust the fuel mixture screw. It should be a screw on the outside of the carb.

that is what i thought, ive changed my jetting on my 400ex over a hundred times and i never touched the pilot screw but dynojet said i had to adjust it in order to adjust the fuel mixture. oh ya were is the fuel mixture screw because mine has a cover were it would be on the 2004
If its the same as the 500 Foreman its on the bottom of the carb. And you will need a special screwdriver, That should have come in your jet kit, to adjust it. It is resessed into the car a bit, so you can not see it from the side.

thanks man thats what it looks like exactly, a matter afact i just finished rejetting it and bringing it down from a 155 main jet to a 150 main jet then i added a extra washer to the nedle now its running harder and better.
