JET/HMF/Snorkle?

I have an 06 foreman with an hmf muffler, uni filter and just installed my triangle snorkle. Hers my problem, before the snorkle it ran great and would top out at about 54 mph. Now with the snorkle installed it will only go about 52-53 and it wonts to cut out a little . So i pulled the airbox lid off and it gained about 3mph and felt really strong. So to me its too rich because its not getting enough air. I live in Alabama where the elev is below 500ft and have the 170 jet in it from HMF. Do I need to install the stock 162 back in it? Thanks

Did you adjust the air/fuel mixture? Might solve your problem.
I did and it runs fine at idle but as far as i know that wont affect wide open throttle.
I HAVE AN HMF, K&N, AND TRIANGLE SNORKEL WITH THE 170 JET AND THE A/F TURNED OUT ABOUT 3 TURNS AND IT RUNS GREAT
maybe too much air.... cover up half ur snorkle with a piece of tape or something and try it
sounds crazy but it might work
bet you run a single 1.5 inch pipe huh look in the how to section need to get more air for all them add ons so youll need to go with a dual that Y's off out of the airbox u can still use the triangle just use a y adapter and run the left side of the pipin(sittin L)
if the snorkel is 1.5" it is not getting enough air.

i have a full 2" system and it runs fine...

put an adapter and run 2" from the plastics up...
its 1.5 from the airbox and along the engine then its 2 the rest of the way. Its a triangle kit. Im going riding today and see how its gonna do.
I thought the triangle kit was set up for a stock bike??
it is it ran fine on mine stock and it runs fine with an hmf k&n and jetted. i just had to toy with the a/f a bit more
well i took it out today and it ran great. no water in the airbox so im very pleased with it
take ur spark plug out to see what color it is
you do not want it to be white
