What tire/wheel combination is suggested for the Foreman 400 TRX400FW 4x4? Currently have the stock 11" rims with Kenda Bearclaws (25-12-11 Rear & 25-10-11 Front). I am looking at the ITP Mudlite XTR Kit which incl. the 14-INCH C-Series Type 7 aluminum wheel from ITP with the Mud-Lite XTR Front 27x9R-14 and rear 27x11R-14. Will the wheels rub? Already have a 2" Lift & 1.5" Spacers. Adding the Xtreme Front Disc Brake Kit so need to go larger than the stock 11" rims. Will 12" rims/wheels do better? Also 26" rather than 27"?

the 27" will fit fine with the lift kit you already have. you want have any problems with rubbing, maybe if riding two people. the 400 has shorter shocks and a softer ride than the 450. alot of riders don't keep the 14" rims very long, they ride ruff and not very many tires to choose from. There are alot of 12" rims to choose from and a big choice of tires to pick from.

Tks for all the info Dirty4man....I forgot to ask what you meant by a 450 suspension on the front. Simply a change of the shocks with the Lift? What is the travel?

her bike has complete 450 (shocks, a-arms, knuckels and axles) the 450 a-arms/axles are 2" longer and the shocks are like 3" longer than the 400's. so this gives more travel up and down. she does not have a lift on the front, just the rear. The 400 frame is 1" shorter in height than the 450 frame, so this is another 1" added to the 450 shocks on the front of her 400 foreman. This is why no lift is need on the front.
