have you tried adjusting the air/fuel screw? Stock intake?
I'm Runnin' Rich...Now What?
Recently had a friend put in my DJ170. I've put a few miles on my 500 since then and tonight I decided to check the plug. BLACK! Not extra crispy but a nice black powder color. I've been learnin' as I go so I'm not sure what to do next. I've got a K&N filter and a SuperTrapp IDSX exhaust. Do I need to uninstall the 170 and go with a smaller jet? If anyone would mind pointing me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Try turning your air/fuel screw all the way in. From there, turn it 2.5 to 3 full turns.
