i see that you just purchased the bike and it is a 99. it could be as simple as giving the carb a good cleaning. and if that doesn't work try giving the air/fuel mixture screw a half turn out
Idle Problem
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on this idle problem I have. I have a 99 Honda foremanES and it runs good when i'm giving it gas but if I let it sit and idle it acts like it is going to cut off but doesn't. This doesn't happen alot but it is very random. It also does it sometime when I have it in neutral and I hit the gas real quick. It just acts like it want to shut off but never does. I'm a new atv owner and i'm not sure what the problem could be.
