I have a 2001 honda foreman es and I’m trying to do an angle sensor bypass in hopes that it will fix my downshift button that isn’t working. The only problem though, is that I don’t know where one of the connectors go to.

I just did one on my 02. I bet the plug you are looking for is under the plastic on the right front corner of the fuel tank. I think mine was a gray plug.
