How to stop squeeky brakes, and keep that shine on metal prt

Hey, I just wanted to share an idea of how I finally found to stop my brakes from squeeking and also how to protect the metal surfaces of the undercarriage. There is a product by amsoil that is called metal protector, and it works great. It leaves a thin coating of some type of material, which makes it easy for cleanup, and it also gives everything a shine.

Just thought I would pass that along.

I had tried WD-40 in the past, but the odor was too much in my garage. This stuff does not stink up the garage.

I use that stuff too. But you put it on the brakes? Is that the stuff that leaves kind of yellowish almost plastic feeling residue. If so, I always sprayed my Cat snowplow with that stuff before storing it, worked great.
if WD-40 dont work then i dont know what to tell ya. it always works for me. just get some and put it on every nut, bolt, spring, the whole thing just put it to er'.
