There are 2 wires that lead to the fan, run the negative to the battery and the other to the switch. Then either run a power wire from the battery or if you want it controled by the key go to the hot wire on the acc. plug to the switch, hope this helps.

The temperature sensor already has 12v ..Thats why the fan will work by grounding the temperature sensor wire ..To install a fan switch just "T" the sensor wire to ground thru the switch ..
That sensor wire is a ground wire for the fan your looking for trouble putting 12v thru the ground side of the ECM
