I did one a while back and just welded a tip on to the stock exhaust about 3" long, then the guy that owned the bike put on his own stack. He probably clamped it But if you want one that is permanent then I would just weld the entire stack to the babck of the muffler. Any competent muffler shop should be able to weld it and bend the stack for you.

I never sit that far back on mine, and if you are going to run an exhaust snorkel that usually means that you are going to be riding in a lot of water which would cool it off. I don't think I would worry about the heat too much just my .02.

Do yall think that an 1.5" exhaust pipe be big enough for a stock muffler, I have a piece that is already bent so I think I am going to try one on mine.
