Mine runs alot when I'm riding slow speeds, 3 gear kinda slow. When it's hot (outside) it runs alot too. I don't worry about it, the light never comes on. I will worry about it when that happeneds. I did notice that now that I make sure I clean out both oil coolers it don't run as much and takes longer for it to come on, maybe you should check and see if one of your coolers are packed with mud/dirt.
