I would leave it where it's at. You might be a tad rich but the carbon is staying burnt off the electrode. From what i have always understood you do not read the electrode or ceramic part of the plug for your final analysis, but it does play a part. The end of the threads on the plug is what you read. You can only get a true reading if you have done the throttle chop test with a new plug.

I think a throttle chop test is when you install a new sparkplug then immediately take the bike out for a wide-open-throttle run through all gears,then before letting up on the throttle you shut the engine off,coast to a stop and remove the plug for inspection.
You got it! Except you do 1 test at 1/4 throttle, 1 at 1/2 throttle and 1 between 3/4-full throttle. Check plug after each run.
