How do you clean your atv?

How does everyone clean their bikes?

1. rinse off the bulk and loose stuff.
2. Formula 88 diluted to 40%with water, spray it all over the bike top to bottom.
3. wait a minute after covering the bike
4. Rinse it all off. No rubbing needed ever.
5. Use a leaf blower to dry most of the water, towel dry the rest.
6. Finish 2000 wax after a couple rides, helps the mud slide off.
7. I coat the underside of my bike (plastics) w/ Mud Release and Silicone/WD-40 spray (everything else) before every ride.
8. I also use Silicone tire dressing foam on tires and plastic as well.

Is that too anal?

Nope sounds good to me.
Ill have to try your way one of these times.
Man you treat that bike like its a Cadillac I still havent washed mine since the last time Travis and I rode at 5a.
I actually like my bike. I would never treat it like a General Motors product. More like a Lincoln Continental .
I wait 2or3 days than give it a good washing (I'm lazy too)
Normally if you wait to or there days you can just beat on the fenders and most of it comes off in chunks.

I found this stuff at the dollar store the other day, made by Black Magik. It is Car Tintz. They used to make Tire Tintz but it was crap. This stuff is aerosol and you spray a fine multi-color gliter over the paint and trim. It looks pretty interesting, a tad ghetto though. It said it washes right off so I'm sure after the first hole Sunday it will all be gone. It was onlt a buck so I couldn't resist trying it out.
Next thing ya' know ol' Truegrit will have 20 inch wheels & low profile tires on the Foreman. Ha! Ha!
Like this?
Where did you get those? My publicist was not suppossed to release those photos yet. I'll have to get on to him about that. My new project is some 26" dubs for my lawn mower.
We don't have a lot of time for cleaning the bikes so we usually just drive home real fast & hope the mud will fly off onto the cars behind us!!
J/K, we've used Greased Lightning, Simple Green & Formula 88. Seems like the Formula 88 works best.
This is how I get all the mud off
That is sweet! Just need a musky lure attached on the back rack and you're ready for trollin'!
Not too many muskee in these parts. More likely to have a gator bite your tush.
soap and water, let dry and spray on 2001 by Turtle Wax and wipe off.Looks better than show room shine.gotta try once, good stuff!!!!!!
I found some Rain-X sparay wax. You just spray it on to the quad wet or dry. Then wipe it down, no more effort than drying the bike. Probably very similar to your 2001 wax.

I put on my truck to see how it would do. It went on in minutes and looked good but, the water beading only lasted a couple days in the sun. But it does good on the bike.
for the sillycone spray i use CRC 6-56. ya can get it @ marine supply stores..

It takes me about 2 or 3 hours to clean off our bikes. Alot of pre washing with the hose and alot of scrubing with simple green
