Did anyone see whats new for Honda ATV for 2008? Ha Ha! Nothing. Except for the fact that someone in the company had a brain fart and decided to had white to the line up. I would like to know who thought this was a good idea. Anyway, no efi, irs, diff loc liquid cooled for an already out dated Foreman. Way to go Honda. Another year come and gone and no change. I guess it's time to buy a more competive machine.

I anyone is interested on seeing this sector of this company sink, go to WWW.hondanews.com

at the most you'll only see a lockers for the foreman and efi anyway. i think i've read that all bikes have to have efi by 2009 in CA. probably not a locker and definatly no irs or liquid cooling. those options just aren't for a workhose around the farm like the foreman. JMO

Makes you wonder what those guys at honda are thinking about. It seems like they're saying, "how much can we do( or not do) to turn people off of Hondas." They should start talking to they car division. They make the best cars on the plant and only for reliability, the worst ATV's.

i believe that the new stuff doesn't really get announced til fall anyway. i believe according to the releases that only the foreman was dealt with. nothing else mentioned unless i missed it. i think they have more than just the one bike dont they?

you still can't do a fucking quote can you? what is the problem anyway?
You have to think that Honda Engineers build them the way they do... they are tanks.
are you sure thats white and not yellow?
like he said all honda is doin is turnin people off. since 2005 there foremans have been **** for me. i wish i still had my rancher and foreman 450
im sure they will have to make the 500 efi soon because the 420 is efi, or at least you would think they would have too
kybmu,
Just a couple of quick questions. Do you have a Suzuki Eiger? Do you live in PA? Are the guy that was know as "MOTO-F150" on another forum?

Sorry about all the questions, just curious.
No efi because they put efi on the rancher 420 and the rincon which are more geared toward the "play" crowd and not workers like the foreman. I wouldnt want my foreman IRS anyway. It more of a work quad thats why the rincon sucks for farmers. Diff Lock would maybe be a good idea tho but it just seems to be something Honda doesnt like and they have liquid cooled in the 420, the ruby and the rincon. Putting Liquid cooled in the foreman would make all their bigger machines pretty much the same. Some people just prefer air cooled for the simplicity. I think Honda could be doing better with the foreman by puttin adjustable shocks on them tho. Also they could improve the rincon by putting a low range in it.

I generally like the Foreman the way it is, an air-cooled workhorse than can substiute as a recreational machine. It's built tough. Yes it could use efi and it would be nice to also have a high/low range in the thing as well as diff lock. The only other machine I'd trade mine for would be a Yamaha Big Bear
Quad mag said no changes on the current models but but maybe power stering on the rincon but they did say there is a rumor about 2 whole new quads coming out.
the honda 250r where availible in white and help their color pretty well. I wouldn't buy one as a first choice but it is not repulsive.

I work at a Honda car dealer as a Mechanic and yes there cars are great , but Honda is always on the conservitive side and always will be. They will test test test before adopting something, heck they have run Distributers on all there models right up to 2002 when everyone else had coil over plug ignition systems, and why because it worked . Besides they were the first to have variable valve timing in a production car and the first to have a Hybrid sold to the public and who else runs there ATV engines sideways to get more power out of a smaller engine. Be paitiet when they do change it will blow all others out of the running. Or buy a Polaris with FI and IRS and spend the next 4 years fixing it as far as the worst I say they are.
