HondaMechainic please help ES slight problem

Here latley when I crank up the Foreman and take off it shifts fine through all gears, when I go to take off it shifts perfect into 1st and acts like it doesn't want to shift into 2nd. While I'm doing this I'm at very low rpm's and moving less than 10 mph. The bike has only 24 hrs on it. I do all of the service work and changing the fluids and etc except working on anything that deals with electronics on the bike. Can you make any suggestion on how to fix the slight problem or do I need to carry it to the Hoda dealer. If I ahve to carry it to the dealer what price sounds reasonable for the service work?

Thanks, Rusty

No I have never adjusted anything but the brakes, I wouldn't even know where to start looking to adjust the clutch if I had to. What do you reccommend I do? Thanks for the reply.

Rusty
I've found that the ES works better if the clutch is adjusted "looser" than the factory specs.I turn the adjuster screw in an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn. It's simple to do,locate the adjuster screw and locknut on the front of the engine, loosen the locknut and turn the adjuster screw out until resistance is felt then turn it back in 1/4 turn (spec).I give it a little more.
HondaMechanic is that the way I need to adjust mine? Does anyone have any pics of where the adjustment is to be made?

Rusty
Rusty if it's new, take it to a dealer, I did and they took care of it.
Well that looks easy enough!!!
I have had it for a year and that is the only problem I have ever had with it at all. I feel that I can fix but I just need to know where to start. HondaMechanic I can not see what you have posted. Thanks for the replys.
