Me too. Love it. I paid less but did not include shipping so cost come out about the same. Simple but great product. Makes life much easier.
can you post a pic of it? looked like a good ideal.
why would you pay money for something you can accomplish with two zip ties. I've had them on my bike since day one and never had a problem.
i was too cheap even for the zip ties. just loosen the lock nut on the cable by the handlebars and screw the cable adjustment out until the reverse is full time locked out. it is easy to return to factory specs and doesn't cost a thing. i did this about 6 months ago and never want to use the little red button again.
or you could do that.

DirtKurt, what exactly did you zip tie? I tried zip tying the reverse lever to the brake lever but it won't stay on. I'm not a big fan of the red button and I like the idea of being able to use reverse without it.
Can someone post a pic?
Pic Please!
got mine in the mail today. Works like a charm.
put a pic up zipp...ill look at it when i come over...i may order one..how long did it take to get here??
here is a pic

If you saw a pic I think you'd laugh after knowing the darn thing costs $10! I got mine a few weeks back...still haven't used it so I couldn't really say how well it works. I was just shocked when I realized I'd spend $10 on something so simple. Hey...if it works I guess you can't complain.
Here is a way to disable the reverse button all together:

HOW TO DISSABLE THE REVERSE BUTTON-BRAKE ON S MODEL HONDA ATV
Allows you to shift into reverse without pushing red reverse button and pulling left brake lever.

If you find the adjusting sleeve located on cable 3 in this exploded diagram: It will be the one with a nut that locks the adjusting sleeve in place.

http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/200_0364/ ... &groupid=2 520&parent=2480

Loosen the locking nut (I believe it took a 9mm open ended wrench).
Turn the adjusting sleeve out, so you are seeing more of the thread.
Keep adjusting it out while tapping down on the shifter (going into reverse). You should feel the shifter getting tighter.
Once you reach the point it bypasses the reverse lock the shifter will go into reverse without touching the reverse button and/or brake lever.
Tighten the lock bolt back up.

Once this is done you DO NOT have to touch the reverse button or touch the brake lever. You just keep tapping down on the shifter and it will go from neutral to reverse.

FYI I did this on my 01 450s as well as an 05 500 foreman S.

Blessings,
TRHOD

TRHOD alot of riders override the reverse as you stated. Myself I dont feel safe doing that way. I have mine set up with the rear brake lever. My rear brakes don't work any more. My red button is helded in place with a clip, I just grab the brake lever and shift into reverse. This way you can't jam it into reverse by mistake. Alot of damage can be done to the trans if this ever happened.
Here is a post that is in the rancher section with a few pic's of how I did mine. http://hondaforeman.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2316
