HMF sooner than I thought!! Maybe

Well, I had an HMF planned for the future, was thinking when the swamp series came out I would get that one. We were riding sat. and there was spiders everywhere. To make a long story short, I was leading our group and went through a huge web, I swear it slowed me down a little bit. My girlfriends little brother follows so close ALL the time, when I hit the brakes he smoked me pretty hard but not as hard as times before. I think he hit my exhaust and cracked it somewhere. Because when I went to go, It sounds like I have a huge exhaust leak. I haven't been able to really look to see if its cracked or what the damage is, but now my girlfriend wants to buy me a HMF. ****, works for me right.

My question is, should I get the slip on? And if I do, I need to jet it right? People are telling me that with the slip on you don't have to, only with the full HMF. I don't mind jetting it cause it would give me a power gain right? I would assume that if I jet it I will be getting the full potential out of the HMF. Any info would be cool.

After reading what I just posted, it got me thinking. If the pipe is cracked then I would have to get the whole HMF system. I think I will call the dealer to see how much the stock pipe is and just get the slip on. I will see tonight what the damage is.

Thats not true if the first pipe isnt cracked and just the back one that slips in is then the slip on would be just fine
i believe that hmf only makes slipons for the foreman. i don't believe that they have a full system for us. if your header pipe is cracked you may be able to take it to a muffler shop and have them make or repair yours. it will probably be cheaper than your honda dealer.

yes you will have to rejet for about any aftermarket pipe.
Ok, so, I have outlaws and a lift on my bike. Now we are thinking about putting it in the shop and letting warranty take care of it. If I bring it in there with this stuff on it, will they give me trouble about the lift being on there? We know the lift has nothing to do with the exhaust but you know how the warranty works.
yeah could lead to trouble i would take it off unless they already had the lift on it when you bought the bike
Just got back from my dealer, and they said no go on the warranty! **** it! Its ok, Iam going have to start saving for an HMF. Has anyone on here tried a mudslinger? They had one installed on a foreman there and it sounded pretty cool. Do you get the same or more power than the HMF? And does anyone know if its sealed? I wanna wait on the swamp series but if the mud slinger is seald I might try it.
the swamp series is available as of last week. i saw one dyno that they had done and released and it had more torque and hp than the utility. i looked at their website and it said to call. they swamp series on the bike that i saw was tested had less db than a stock pipe.

that would be nice but i kinda like the rumble of the utility.
Thanks to jrt021, Iam back up and running. He just got an HMF and now my bike has his stock pipe on it. I still have an HMF on my wish list, but this is just to get me back running. Thanks again jrt021!!!!!!!
