as long as the packing inside isn't damaged you can..if the packing is damaged you can send it off and have it repacked or order the stuff and do it yourself..

the only way you can really tell is to just take the rivits out and take a look inside..it is very simple if you have a rivit gun..or you can pick one up at wal-mart for about 10.00..i beleive it's only about 25.00 for them to repack it..
