Hi guys im hopeing to get the clutch kit, pipe, air filter and a jet kit soon. My question is if anyone knows how loud the hmf is with the quiet core. I saw the video clip of raveers so I know how loud it is without one, how is it compared to stock. Then I was just wondering if the clutch kit will make it wheelie. Im gonna get it weather it will or not, but was just wondering. Ohh and I was gonna order some vamps but 27 12s are on backorder for 8 weeks or so. All I want is one awsome mud tire, but it has to be able to climb some good size hills and very steep creek banks. Any suggestions other than vamps? What if I go with EDLs ??? Im kinda afraid I will snap my axels if I go with those.

4man500 that was no HMF on mine, It was a tractor muffler. Sound is good and it is only loud when you get on it hard. The HMF on my rinny is real loud w/out the quiet core. I am running zillas. But only time will tell about the axles for me.

I have the HMF utility, dynojet, k&n, and clutch kit on my 500.Honestly theres not a lot of difference of other bikes mufflers noise compared to the core in my HMF.My friends didnt even know sometimes if the foreman was running or not before I put the pipe on because the stock one is VERY quiet. It is loud without it in,but it doesnt seem to have the power like it does with it out, maybe its just the loud sound that makes it seem more powerful, I dunno.I did manage to get one pretty good wheelie after I put the clutch kit in,leaned way back and pulled up pretty hard but I only weigh 145ish, and a 3k Warn is mounted in the front end.But I can tell a difference with the clutch kit in.So if you're gonna put tires on it,I would spend the 50 bucks and get the clutch kit.Oh yeah if you put it on yourself, dont break the **** angle sensor like I did trying to unplug the wire harness. Only a 35 dollar part, but I had to wait 2 days to get a new one

Mine still won't wheelie by itself, w/ the clutch kit. But you can notice the difference in how it engages and it turns the tires much better in the thick stuff..
