I have a low mileage 2003 TRX500 Honda Rubicon which will just not stop leaking fuel out the overflow. I originally tried cleaning the carb and float seat, then I replaced the float, then I replaced the entire carb with a Chinese knockoff, then I bought an OEM, and finally tried a 2nd OEM.,,,,The issue is that after storing up in our place up north for a couple of weeks with the fuel shutoff, it overflows when you try opening the petcock. I thought it might be a bad vent causing pressure in the tank so I started "burping" the tank by opening it before the petcock. The only thing that SOMETIMES fixes it is a rubber mallet to the top of the carb to shake things up. I have had the tank completely off and flushed it out. Also replaced the petcock and there wasn't any debris on the stand pipe/filter. I am literally at loss because I have an almost identical 2007 Rubicon which gets the same fuel and stabilizer and it never gives me a problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
