Ok boys and girls, winter will be here soon, so let's talk about heated grips/ thumb warmers.

Who has 'em, what brand are you running, and what are your likes or dislikes about them.

I'm wanting to buy a set, but want to make sure I'm buying something that works as promised and is durable. I'm looking at a set made by Kimpex that has a variable resistor on a heat control knob.

For the ATVer who has it all...

I found this the other day. A bit pricey, but may be worth it if it does all it says it will.

5 zones you can control independently of one another with 5 different heat settings. Grips, thumb, and you can add a seat warmer and other heated things such as a vest, chaps, etc.

Ooops. I meant 4 zones, not 5. The basic setup has 2 zones (grips and thumb warmer) for $99.

The 4 zone controller (grips, thumb, and 2 extra outlets for seat or foot warmers, etc.) goes for $129.

They sell the element for the seat warmer as well. It looks like a pretty neat set up. I'm just curious about the durability.
