Never had that problem but I'd disconnect the cable on the carb. and see if it's still the same.Probably a bad cable.
hard thumb throttle
Any body ever have any problems with there throttle being real hard? I can still push it, but it gives my thumb a workout. Thanks, Seth

yes check your cable and also check the throttle itself for mud and sand.
You should check where the cable hooks to the carb. There is a little plastic cover over the connection. If you do a lot of mud riding, mud collects under there and can make it hard. Mine was sticking do to mud build up.
