Hello I have a 2004 honda foreman 4x4 The steering is hard to turn weather it is in 4x2 or 4x4. It only has 600 miles on it and i have own it since new. I thought it was normal until i rode a frends 2002 rubicon his is much easier. Is there any to fix or is it normal?
Thanks Roy
right under the handle bars on the stirring stem there is a plastic bushing, it has 2 bolts holding it in place. You can try greasing it. I have to grease mine about once a year due to hard stirring.
Check the tire pressure! I have found on my OEM tires if the pressure is off by as much as 2lbs it pulls to one side and hard to keep straight.
The next thing is to go and get some Gator 26" tires. I just put them on my 04 450 ES and,,, well you could have Never convinsed me that it would make that much difference. Plus win I am in 4x4 it is easier to drive!!
For today, get the tires at 4 lbs in each tire and you will notice a great difference.
