Gorilla Winch Contactor

I have a 3000 Lb Gorilla winch I am installing on my 2006 Foreman 500. Where are y'all mounting your contactor? I have seen the forum on the warn winch mount but I dont know if the two are the same. If I put it in the storage box do I just silicone the hole for the wires to waterproof them? I have also heard of guys mounting it on top of the storage box? Pictures would be a big help. Thanks!!!!!

when i had a winch i had mine zip tied to teh bar right above the bat..
I made a bracket and mounted mine above the battery. I don't ride in deep water and I did not want to take up space in the storage box.

in storage box and siliconed the hole
Survey Says............Storage Box! I mounted it in the storage box and it worked great. Winch has plenty of power. Thanks for the help!!
I say put it in the back tool box!
I have mine mounted in the rear storage box as well but I didn't try and make the box waterproof. In fact I made the drain hole larger. Don't waste your time trying to keep water out because it WILL get in. Change gears and make it easier for water to get OUT. Good Luck
Good idea Eric.............Will do!
