come on

im hearing that they arent all that much better than stock
they are better but alittle out of my budget too, twice the size and will alow more lift and travel. as long as I can get a new stock axle for $100 I will stay with them. ever since I removed the lift my bike hasn't been eating up axles. I have broke 5 axles, busted 2 diffs on my bike alone
im right there with you bud

they are way to high (350$) thats rediculous, and they dont really allow that much more travel because the ball joints will start to bottom out. If you put your bike on a jack at the chassis the tie rods will more than likely bottom out before your axles. NOW dont take my word on that im just talking. the only way to tell is to take the tie rod off and see.
balljoints max out before the axle does. i think gorillas can handle 5 degrees more then the balljoints so that isnt much. all you can get out of the front end of a foreman is about 3" of lift. i wouldnt go no bigger then what highlifter lift kits lift in the rear due to the u joint. i'd replace an axle over a input shaft any day of the week.
i have the gorillas but i didnt get it because i wanted to go higher i dont even run a lift and am not intending on getting one but i broke two stock axels in 3 months so i got sick of it and just spent the money on it......havent had any problems with the gorillas yet
having 28s on the front and 27s on the back doesnt ruin your differentials
maybe in some cases but the 27's on my bike actually blow up to a 28 inch tire and i only run 5psi in the rears
hey lifted 450es i have a perfex lift and lift springs on the back of my foreman and have 2100 miles on it and my rear differential and drive shat are fine the rear has alot of travel left i dont see where yall are gettin this stuff and how yall break so much stuff i am rough on mine and all that has broken is a valve seat a valve guide and a front left axle and
"i dont stop when she gets hoppin' i just try not to let it start to stoppin"
oh yeah and about 3 sets of bearings

Get rid of them gators and get some real mud tires and you'll know what its like to break stuff

4fifty as to what lifted said about the tires is true. wheel hopping with a big lug tire will leave you sitting with something broke.
ive had 29s on my 450 fer a week and havnt ha any problems yet ive rode it everyday fer bout 3 hours mud ridin and takin r deep. ive had it hoppin comin out of ditches, reverse wheelies, hitg every mud hole and gone over trees and cought roots imo honda axles are some of the toughfest stock axles around, aleist better than my rhino i broke one axle with 26" laws and 2 stocker and 6 gorillas with 29s
aftermarket axle

I would like to check out the wild boar and or the pro series axles, where would I find info on them. Web site and or mag?

Your not running a locker either, read some of the other post in this section and you would see that he was asking about locker as well. All I can say is, you have been lucky.
I have had 28in laws on my Foreman for almost a year now and have broke nothing yet, and I run the **** out of it. I guess I can call myself lucky.
LOOK BUD

i bet right now i can follow anyone of yall with a 28 of any other kind than a outlaw or edl i have followed them mudzillas a many of times ive even pushed them out

the wild boars are hard to find but im signed with parts unlimited and thats the only reason i can get pro series theyre not that much better than stock (25%)
i guess im just lucky to 1 axle and that was just off of wear
More power to u, I could care less if you could follow me or not. I'm just out for the ride and posting from my experience. But thats just my opinion, so go for it.
american cv

for stronger axles with out paying out the box for gorrila axles, call
John at Amercian CV. 518-884-9431. Have been researching an alternitive to gorrila axles and this is the best I've found. Has bigger componets and shaft and thermoplastic boots, which are to me the best upgrade as they are less likely to rip.
