Do you have it on neutral and the long end of the pin on the gear position switch lined up with the N?

Hope you pulled swing arm makes it so much easier to line up. Take your time it will lineup and he’s write make sure you have gear position sensor lined up or will disable start and you’ll either have to pull all back a part or jack leg together to get it to start also don’t be cheap buy new gaskets or it will be a legacy oil leaker

Jack do you understand what everyone is referring to if you don’t just ask it will be so easy once you know what part is what and what it does. This is just nuts and bolts on this repair so not hard. Also curious how this happened. I’m a little heavy handed so I think you did what I did one time. I’ve made a career of breaking things
