I have a 2001 Foreman 450s, can anyone tell me if I need to a gear reduction to fit 28 inch tires. I am in the process of installing a 2 inch lift but not to sure on the gear ratios.

i have the 14% GR, and 30mph is the fastest i go, and it is reving pretty high then, thats why i don't go over that, but what good does speed do it????, i never need to go fast on it anyway, 25mph on it is fast enough for me. But that said, it has gone up to 65mph.............................................on the trailer behind my '98 Tacoma! lol, thats the only time that i'd ever want one goin that fast!!!!!
But remember only PURE MUD TIRES (outlaw, silverback, terminator, etc. except vampires) WILL MEASURE TRUE!!!!!!!, zillas, 589s, gators, mud lites, and all those dual purpose tires all run an 1" short!!!!!, so if you lookin in to 28s, they will really be around 27", if you don't believe this, there are plenty threads on it!!!!, here and highlifter forums
