I use 93, Simply because that is what my truck takes. And I am too lazy to get out a second nozzle of cheaper gas to put the couple gallons in the the Foreman.

The rule of thumb is to use the lowest octane you can w/o your motor pinging. There is not a noticeable difference that I can tell. But if you realistically look at it. The $$ difference in 93 vs 87 octane in the 3-4 gallons to fill-up the Foreman is less than a dollar. But like I said, I only use it because its what I have to run in my truck, other wise I'd probably stey the the "happy medium" and run 89.
