I recently bought a Honda Foreman 450TRX that had been sitting for a few years. I installed a new carb, drained & replaced the gas, changed the oil and now it is starting up and idling fine.

Problem is, if I rev the engine at all then gas starts pouring out of the breather tube that leads from the bottom of the engine (the crank case maybe?) up to the air filter box. enough gas accumulates there that it quickly reaches the air filter and the bike dies.

If I drain the gas from the air box, it starts right back up.

Any tips? any help is much appreciated!!!

So, I discovered that it was actually "oil" that was feeding back into my air filter box. It was just incredibly diluted with gas from running with the terrible carb that was in there before. I drained the oil pan of the oil/gas mix and refilled with fresh oil. as soon as I did that, the four wheeler started running like a top!
