OK A 99 FOREMAN ON THE LEFT SIDE AS YOU ARE SITTING ON THE BIKE THE CYLINDRICAL SHAPED THING THAT THE AXLE GOES INTO BEFORE IT GOES INTO THE FRONT DIFF. CAME OUT WHILE RIDING AND THE FRONT DIFF FILLED WITH WATER AND MUD HAVE DRAINED THE DIFF BUT NO IDEA WHAT TO DO NEXT. PLEASE HELP AND SEND PICTS IF YOU HAVE ANY
I DON'T KNOW THE BIKE IS NOT HERE WITH ME BUT I DON'T REMEMBER SEEING A RUBBER SEAL OF ANY KIND. THE TEETH ON THE THING THAT WENT IN THE DIFF LOOK FINE AND THERE WAS SOMETHING LIKE A LOCK WASHER ON THE END OF THE SHAFT.
Well it sounds to me like your cv shaft is in good shape but if your diff seal is gone then your gonna have to put a new one in and depending on how much crap youve got inside of the diff you might want to tear it down and clean it.
WELL THAT SOUNDS SIMPLE ENOUGH WHILE I GOT YOU ON HERE IS THERE TYPE OF SEALANT TO USE AFTER WE SPLIT THE DIFF. AND ALSO HE CRASHED THE BIKE A WHILE BACK AND NONE OF THE ELECTRONICS WORK ANYMORE LIGHTS ELECTRIC START ETC. HE HAS PUT A NEW BATTERY IN AND IT WORKED FOR A DAY THEN THE BATTERY DIED DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THE VOLTAGE RECTIFIER.
Im not sure about a 99 foreman but on mine theres a o-ring that goes around and lip where you seperate the 2 halfs of the diff. As for the electronics im not sure, im sure youve checked all the fuses and plugs to make sure there still connected, other than that maybe some one else could give you some insite.
