From what you have said it sounds like you cv shaft pulled out of the diff. How does the seal look on the diff where the shaft goes into it?
I DON'T KNOW THE BIKE IS NOT HERE WITH ME BUT I DON'T REMEMBER SEEING A RUBBER SEAL OF ANY KIND. THE TEETH ON THE THING THAT WENT IN THE DIFF LOOK FINE AND THERE WAS SOMETHING LIKE A LOCK WASHER ON THE END OF THE SHAFT.
THIS IS NOT MY BIKE IT'S A FRIENDS I TOLD HIM TO GET A SERVICE MANUAL AND WE WOULD TRY TO GO FROM THERE. BUT HE IS HARD HEADED AND I DON'T WANT TO DO SOMETHING TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE.
Well it sounds to me like your cv shaft is in good shape but if your diff seal is gone then your gonna have to put a new one in and depending on how much crap youve got inside of the diff you might want to tear it down and clean it.
WELL THAT SOUNDS SIMPLE ENOUGH WHILE I GOT YOU ON HERE IS THERE TYPE OF SEALANT TO USE AFTER WE SPLIT THE DIFF. AND ALSO HE CRASHED THE BIKE A WHILE BACK AND NONE OF THE ELECTRONICS WORK ANYMORE LIGHTS ELECTRIC START ETC. HE HAS PUT A NEW BATTERY IN AND IT WORKED FOR A DAY THEN THE BATTERY DIED DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THE VOLTAGE RECTIFIER.
Im not sure about a 99 foreman but on mine theres a o-ring that goes around and lip where you seperate the 2 halfs of the diff. As for the electronics im not sure, im sure youve checked all the fuses and plugs to make sure there still connected, other than that maybe some one else could give you some insite.
