if you are going up a steep hill make sure you are going fast enough to make it all the way up. i did not... and got hurt pretty bad. it cost me 1500 bucks to get it fixed, bummer. please be carefull when riding up hills they can hurt you bad. lucky for me i had my helmet on, it did get broken as well. could have been much worse. the good news is that once the hoda rolled end over end about 6 times it started right back up. tried to ride it back to the truck but my back rim was bent badly so i had to ride back on the wifes bike.

Good thing you had your helmet on! I can't stress it enough to my buddies that you NEVER KNOW when something bad is going to happen. How bad did you get hurt? I about pooped when I seen the pif of your foreman, wow its messed up.
broken right wrist, and seperated shoulder. and a really good dose of road rash on my arms and legs because i had shorts and a short sleeve shirt on.
That bike looks bad! Glad you're o.k. I always wear a helmet too.You don't have to be going fast to get hurt.Good luck with your recovery.
glad you are ok. this gos to show i sould invest into helmates
thank God for brain buckets, never leave home without em lol, keep 2 in the truck just in case. glad to hear nothing more major was wrong wit ya, get well soon and this just gives you another reason to mod your foreman
Why does it have to turn into a helmet post?, sorry about your bike and glad you're ok!!
Why not? They save lives.
I have mixed feelings on helmets and these atvs. For my riding style and area I choose not to wear one. I go mainly under 10mph usually closer to 5mph all weekend and stay in mud and low areas. I don't ride on steep hills. I raced motocross for years though and have never rode without a helmet on with only two wheels. I know helmets can be the difference between having a headache and being a busted watermelon! I just down wear one riding atvs unless I HAVE to, and to date, I haven't had to yet. I also believe that if you are hurt and not wearing a helmet its your own fault. I know the consequences of my actions and can live with them whichever way it turns out.

Just worry about your own life, we can take care of ourselves.

Hey Eric, I did not tell you how to live your life! I could care less if you use one or not. I have not been riding as long as some of you, but I have seen many people get hurt and killed by not wearing a helmet. I have not seen anyone get hurt or killed because of wearing one. If I would have came in here and said "only dumbasses don't wear helmets" I would expect to get a responce like yours. I have never did that and will never do that so don't jump my ass for it.
Helmets and pipes

Well im happy your ok,the quad can be replaced, your life cant be..As for your helmet it saved your life im sure, and people say that pipes save lifes also,on street bikes or quads....So please dont anyone make smart remarks about why this has to turn into a helment post.....it saves lifes
I have ridden, atvs, threewheelers and dirtbikes since i was 3 years old haha, if it wasnt for helmets i'd be dumber than i already am, ask joecamel i tend to end up flipped at least once per ride if not more, i think I flipped 3 times last time i went creek ridin, love my helmet, plus that rebel flag skin is nifty
I completely agree there are times when you are just not gonna need one. Then again, I would not ride without mine. I have gotten spoiled with the visor on mine too, because I will let all kinds of crap hit me in the head when I am riding / making trails. Today I got a 3 inch dead tree limb...
i've done that only on my left hand, tore my glove (brand new shifts just got em in that day) and hurt like h***
Sure thing big_doody!!
