foreman ES shifting noise and clutch adjustment

my Es shifts fairly loud. almost a clunking noise. I heard a clutch adjustment would fix this and make it smoother. Its also punchy when shifting to 1st from N. Any advise. Would my warranty cover this it it needs a fixin?
