you'll have to take the front cover off to change them cam chain and tensioner if its feel weak i wouldn't put it back in. the chain will have some slack until the tinsioner is put on it then it tightens up. yes the 400 and 450 use the same head just a different cylinder and piston/rings everything else is the same

okay Im ordering a 450 jug and piston rings. but I cant find a chain tensioner? anybody have one?

ok I got the motor out of the bike the rings where falling apart as soon as I pulled the jug off. so waiting on the new 450 jug and piston. but I still haven't found a chain tensioner.. anybody know of anywhere I can get one? also whats the easiest way to service the valves? please help thank you

chain tensioner part # is 14520-GY6-901 its under cam chain in the parts microfiche

Ight I’m new to Honda’s I’ve gotten a 95 foreman 400 top end is shot can I use a top end kit for a98 450 and still use my head?
