Hello!
New to the forum hope all is well with everyone
My foreman that I've had for about a year would occasionally not want to shift after I would run it for a while. It would sound like it wanted to shift but wouldn't and then snap out of it usually if I manually pushed it or rocked it for whatever reason.
Now it won't shift out of first.
It won't make any noise like it's trying to shift.
Batteries good I'm thinking the shifter switch. Any body have a suggestion?
Thank you

I ride a 500 rubicon and have been having similar trouble and in my searching I discovered the shift motor appeared to be ok but slow... so i took it apart and it was busted up inside.. replaced took of that problem at least. Still trailing electric problems...

Mine has trouble when its cold. have to let it warm up for a long time for it to reverse without having to rock forward and back. I've read the grease that they put in originally gets hard with age and becomes relatively useless in cold weather. Some guys were cleaning out their shift motors and replacing the grease with white lithium grease and having better luck i guess. i was gonna wait for some warmer weather and give it a go myself.
