Hello! This is my first post on the forum. I have had a 1998 450es for about 15 years and it has been very reliable until this winter. We had a cold snap here in Alberta and after it ended I tried to start the quad and found it stuck in gear. The screen shows a line in the middle of the box where the gear number should be. I have a manual shift shaft on and was able to shift a few times but then it locked up completely. I can't shift it manually at all. Today I replaced the angle shifter but that didn't help. I haven't had to tear the motor apart yet and would like to know where to start. I have worked on motorcycle engines before.
