few questions

are the 05'-07' foremans pretty much the same ? like, will the year range affect the way i make a snorkel kit (will i have to adjust a snorkel kit for each year range)?

and also, does anybody have any pictures of their snorkels on there foreman 500? I'm going to be making snorkel kits for the foremans and not sure if i want/can run a snorkel right out the right side of the quad with minimal trimming or run a hidden snorkel up to the front fender and make it pop out between the rack?

thanks

I wouldn't think there would be too much of a difference between the years.... I used a shop vac hose kit to make mine.... I think its about 2+ inches. I did have to trim the side piece that pops of and then cut the hole in the little piece that comes off on the front. I did have one that was 1.5" and I managed to get it between the plastic and gas tank but my plastic kept popping out around the gas tank so thats why I changed it

heres a couple pics...hope they help
GREAT pictures. that last picture is what i was talking about. it looked like i would have to trim that little pannel.
do have problems with your air filter getting dirty faster b/c your snorkel facing forward?? right now where i ride is crazy dusty and would think that having it faced forward would make suck the dust down faster.
well i actually don't have it facing forward....... those pics were taken when i put it on and I hadn't tested it or rode with it yet....its facing backwards now

you know of anybody that drives a foreman? if you do hit them up and provide them a snorkle, no charge of course. you can learn how to run it and what needs to be done. its much better than looking at pics and going to a dealer to see what can be done.

well, i was getting the pictures to just help me along with ideas. when i go to honda, i'm going to actually be creating the snorkel there. The only problem would be the long tube to get to the front of the quad might be the wrong length (may have to trim) because i wont be able to actually cut the fenders to get the snorkel through.

Not too many people around here right foremans or any big atvs. Now, i will make the snorkel correctly and make sure i do it right. I've make about 3 or 4 snorkels so far (not for this bike though) so i do know how to snorkel atvs.
