Sadly ive seen one goin through a big hole right behind me and as soon as he let off the throttle it died. he was turning 26in XTrs i believe but the mud wasant horrible. For god sakes my rancher made it without major trouble.

check your plug boot.mine did the same thing ihad a tear in it.so i had to replace it .it has some kind of fuse or something like that in it .good luck

mine does it every time i get in a deep mud hole plus mine trans went out in mine its a 07 the dealer say theyre having problems with the trans

when your tranny went out was it the reverse gear?

:question: my 07 rincon 680 is stalling too.....mine mosty stalls when shiffting from forword to rev or opp. i hear that there is a problem with the oil draining off the torque converter. some say that i should use 0w40 in it????

I have an 06 680.. she's got about 1400 miles on her now. When i'm climbing she stalls, mostly when i give some throttle let off then throttle again...she stalls. usually when i least expect. Any answers???

finding it hard to believe that there are so manny good HONDA tecs out there and no one can tell us what is going on with our stalling rincon 680's!!!!

you would think that the mighty HONDA CANADA would have enough "know how" to tell us how to fix this. i think there afraid of the SAFTY issue of a HONDA stalling in the middle of a climb and dont want to get there hands into it. sorry honda your way behind the ball with this one, CAN AM would have this problem fixed.

ditto. mine did it at the top of a hill climb on a powerline row. all the way up, then there was like a 18" vertical rock at the very top. i hit it and got the front over and it died! not a secure feeling!!

Did you figure out what was causing it? I'm having the same problem, even when I go to goose the throttle or I get up to a certain speed it just dies and I have to cycle my key to start it up again
