I have a Honda foreman s with 1500 semi hard miles and recently it started ticking loudly from the top end and has the slightest little bog when you rev it (you don't even have to let off the throttle for it to go away). It does not smoke at all. I just changed the oil about a month ago (did not change oil filter). I was wondering if any one had any tips or if this had happened to them and how they fixed it. Anything is appreciated.

@04ForemanRider I think the ticking sound is do to a loose valve I don’t know if that will also salve the bogging of the four wheeler

Ticking from the top end sure sounds like valve lash being out of adjustment. If the ticking started all of sudden then that could indicate something broke in the valve train causing excess valve clearance. I would suggest you take the valve cover off and inspect everything really well.
