extreme brakes pads rattling - is this normal?

I have had them on for about a month now and I have noticed lately that my front end makes a lot of noise. I norrowed it down to my brakes pads moving around a lot on the guides.

Is it normal for them to do this? When I replace them, is there a better pad made that will fit into the guides more snug so it want rattle?

i got the highlifter setup and mine are doing the same thing...i called highlifter and the guy i talked to said he has never heard of it..i took him step by step of how i installed them and he said it was right...i thought maybe there was a lip from where they machined the rotors and it would wear off...someone else on the highlifter forum said their's was doing the same thing...with all of these kits sold someone else surely has had this problem and would come up with a solution...the guy i just mentioned said his rotors were not true...i was thinking of maybe putting some silicone behind them to see if it would quit...let me know what you come up with and i will do the same...
I have the xtreme kit and the wife has the HL kit, once the pads start to wear down they rattle. I haven't looked at them close enough to see if I could install a rattle clip. I got to the point where I just rest my hand on the brake lever to eliminate the rattle, most of the time it doesn't bother me.
i haven't ridden mine more than 20 miles and it is doing it...now that i think about it, it seemed to be doing it from the start...

Same thing here. Just put a tad bit of pressure on the lever and they will stop. Mine will even stay good for awhile, then they start to rattle again...oh well thats the price to have decent brakes!!
so, is the disk brake kit worth the $$ ? I still have the drum brakes and they suck. Get them wet and say goodbye. I can put up with a little rattle if they are worth it.
from the little bit i have used them since installing they are great...they grab with the slightest amount of pressure applied...mine work fine just has the rattling noise...i went through a decent mudhole and when i came out i hit the brakes and it almost stopped on a dime...if i can figure out a way to get them to stop rattling i will be happy...other than the noise i have no complaints...
It's worth ever penny! Especially if you consider the alternative.....using a tree to stop!!LOL
