Extra horse power?

I am new to the quad scene. I have a stock 06' foreman. no mods except full body skid plates and a winch. I bought new tires mud-lite xtr's same size as oem but they obviously weigh a little more and you can tell the difference in power. My question. Would it be beneficial to just add one of those dial-a-jets? what can i do to increase horsepower without spending mega cash?

Mods cost money
I agree with Eric, adding noticable horse power is expensive. Thanks for the heads up on the Mudlite XTRs'. I was considering these as a replacement for my Mudlite AT tires.

At a minumum...

Jet Kit - Dynojet Approx $55
Aftermarket Filter - Uni Filter or Twin Air approx $30
Muffler Power Tip Approx $40

So for less than $150 you could pick up a few ponies and get the snap back in your Foreman.
Jet kit and Filter will only increase throttle response at best. Only major difference with jet kit will be in start up characteristics.

Exhaust tip, 'thingy', take your spark arrestor out and drill holes or cut entire thing off $0.
get a job and man up!

u spent 6K on the bike but u wanna squeek ur way by on getting some upgrades... not worth ur time

do it right the first time
I have clip my carb spring and added a twinair filter. I just put in an ngk iridium plug. Can feel a little increase in power with each but if you want real power its time to spend some money.
Don't waste your money with the power tip.... no noticeable difference and it started backfiring all the time. Save the $40 and put it towards a new muffler. All the tip does is make it louder. I ended taking mine off and putting the spark arrestor back in.
You might want to update your sig line ^
Thanks... I noticed that after I posted. '
