I'd save your money and buy the HMF. Putting 3 screws into your pipe isn't going to last if you ride in any water or mud, it will rust and the holes will get bigger and the tip will eventually fall off and then you'll have to buy a new exhaust anyways.
exhaust power tip
I realy want an hmf pipe for my bike but don't have the funds for it right now. I saw on ebay that they offered power tips for every foreman exhaust except for the 450. Has anyone ever cut there factory exhaust and fabbed one of these on? They are just held on with 3 screws. Just wondering.

Thats what I have decided on doing. It's just hard to hear my motor to know when to shift when 3 of the guys I ride with already have pipes on theirs.
you could always cut you exhaust off and put a tractor muffler on if you HAVE to have a loud exhaust. i had one on my rubicon and i liked it alot.
