i don't know about the supertrap but i love my HMF
how long have u had ur HMF and how often do you take it underwater? i've heard that the HMFs dont do so well in water and it tears them up really quick

i bought my pipe back in april 06. i had it repacked after the winter because i thought it was getting loud. after getting it back and putting it back on it sounded the same but looked like a new one, didn't need it aparently.

since i got it back, i've dround bike 3 times, once it got in the motor. pipe was full of water drained it out and still sounds the same as when i got it back.

from what i've read they have a real distictive ugly sound when they do go bad. aparantly it takes alot.
i know a few guys that run HMF pipes and they havet had problems with them in the water or mud. when i get one it will be a hmf
