I picked up this “running an driving” 2003 for cheap with the plans on giving it to my old man as a retirement gift. I picked up in torrential rainstorm and didn’t give it much of a once over when seller said exhaust only had one stud installed.
I went to install other stud and when it didn’t bottom out I looked closer to see the manifold cracked. I was thinking of filling with MIG weld, drilling and tapping but was surprised to find head was aluminum.
Any thoughts on how to fix? Should I still give the Mig a shot? JB weld a stud in there?
