Thats your valves ticking, they all make that noise, sometimes it becomes more prounounced when they need to be adjusted for the first service

No they should be fine, Mine have made an audile tick for over 1000 miles, as to why you only just started hearing it i cant really help you, maybe you just noticed it or theyve loosened up a little since adjusting, either way unless your motor is making some ungodly noise you are just fine. so check your oil to be safe and get out and ride.

no you wouldnt want to do that, if you make them to tight you will end up burning a valve.
