I have a 2008 TRX500FE Foreman with some mods and having problems with the electric shift, 3 blinks (angle sensor) I only have 2100 miles on it, Love the foreman but not the problems. My shifter works fine until I get past half throttle then it starts flashing in whatever gear I am in and I cannot shift unless I stop turn it off and back on and rock it back and forth then I can down shift again, it worked fine untill I got 2000 miles on it then I started having trouble with it. Anyone have any ideas?

I have just now removed the angle sensor, the outside was dirty the connections are not corroded and there are no cracks or anything, Do I grease it where it goes into the motor also or just the plug in? I have not adjusted the clutch yet, I wanted to gut the code says angle sensor so I have started there. I really appreciate the help, Thank you

Cleaned the angle sensor and re-installed it and it shifts like new, believe me the plastic is the worse part of this job, now since I am feeling pretty confident I am taking apart the left side and pulling the carb so I can see what size the main jet is I am not looking forward to the air cleaner housing with the 2 inch snorkel I have a new HMF basic jetting kit and feel like I will try the 170 main jet depending what is in it, Surely it was rejetted when they put the after market exhaust and custom snorkel but you never can tell so the only way to know for sure is to take the thing apart and look! I have a slight hesitation low in the throttle but top end seems fine, My question is the main jet the only one that needs changed, Idle is a little sluggish to but the main jet control's from half throttle to full throttle so a little confused I may wait for a reply before I pull the carb, it is so nice to be able to down shift again my confidence is restored in Honda's Electric shift program. I am a little hesitant to adjusting my clutch it seems strong, does this need adjusted more on an es model because my father inlaw has a 2000 450s and has never adjusted the clutch. thanks
