Not sure if it is possible to retrofit the EPS... well anything is possible with enough $$$.

BUT, I will say it is certainly worth the extra $400 (retail) price difference! After using mine for chores (plowing, dragging trees, etc) and all day long trail riding I will never buy another Utility ATV without it!
thanks 928GT, by the way Nice Ride !! ,how do you like those rims ??, Do you know if they have them in a Semi Gloss Black ? ...... Hopefully that PS would be a great upgrade, and not to much Cabbage.....

You are welcome and thank you! BTW, yours looks tuff too! You should post some pics of it.

Love the rims, especially like that they are factory offsets so I keep the stock width for narrow trails and don't sling mud on myself, even with the larger tires.

They only come in clear powedercoated aluminum...BUT powdercoating them semi-gloss black would be very easy and cheap.
i would be iffy of the PS if you ride water alot.
if not, go for it!

So far so good and it has already been buried in water and mud a lot. I will keep my fingers crossed! I am sure (hope) Honda/Showa kept this in mind when designing it. Hopefully it will be less prone to water issues than the angle sensor that I hear fails a lot in those conditions. Worse case scenario it if shorts and/or fails I will still have normal steering like everyone else.
Well i would imagine , all of those scenerio's have been considered, as far as water ,mud conditions !! Also if the power steering "unit" is a type of " BOLT ON " , .. Can you show me a pic of your steering system GT ?? Also ur wheels (honda 5 spokes) How much did they cost ?? i had them ...all four 201.00 us , but the company no longer ships internationally ..... Hummmmmmmmm..... Alllllll Righty then ....thanks........John
It would be expensive to install the power steering unit on a TRX500FE ..
As for Hondaline wheels they are available thru any Honda dealer ..
John,

I wil snap you some pics tomorrow, remind me if I forget.

Concerning the Hondaline Aluminum WHeels, the best price I have found is $83.97 each (see link below). If you know where to get a set of them for $201 US PLEASE let me know. At that price I will buy a spare set!!!

Sorry, but that is a typo (or they are mistaken), that price is PER wheel. I know it says "front set" and "rear set" , but it also says the price is for part number 08w12-hpo-100 which is Honda's part number for 1 wheel. The other giveaway is the Retail of $119 which is also for 1 wheel.

Of course you may get them to honor the deal. If so, let me know and I will give you my address and you can have them shipped to me. I will use my international shipping accounts to ship them on to you for my cost. I have discounted shipping accounts with US Postal, FedEx, or Bax Global as I ship auto parts to Canada and Internationally every day.
Well, isn't that sumthin !! That is some typo , wow... ah the wheels look so fine , i bet there worth the $$. So you ship all the time, thats wild i was just throwing that out there , but cool , i have family in Ca. they are in the Performance brake business, and i sent me all kinds of stuff over the years , But just the same thanks GT, very kind of you But . i'm going hit the dealer a see what they're prices are (wheels & Electric P/S unit) will be ....again thanks all for your input to date .........John

Yeah, I think the guys there are a little inexperianced concerning those wheels. I would bet a dollar they have never sold a set of those wheels. The place where I got mine is huge and my set was the first they had ever sold or even seen in person. Everyone was amazed at how light they are, probably half the weight of aftermarket wheels.

Yes I ship all the time, well technically my shipping dept does. You can see what I do by checking my website, add dot com to my username (928gt). Your family in Ca and I may even do business together

If you ever need anything shipped up to you feel free to let me know, I will be happy to help out a fellow enthusiast.
Thanks a million 928GT, really appreciate that ,family in Ca BC brake and rotor , i think now Bill has another company as well , haven't talked to them since i lived in Detroit Mich. But i bet you probably have !!Nice web site to by the way ..in to them Porches ...cool. Thanks again , also wondering if Honda Mechanic , any idea's on a price ?? for the P/S unit , and is it just a unit ?? Plugin/ Bolt on, type of thing I work in Construction , and by the time i start work , and end of the day , everything is open and closed by the time i get around to it , so not easy for me to just pop in to the dealership ... ok Take care all ......John

Wooooooo, YIKES, that totally squashes that idea, like you said your 400 extra dollars well spent !!!!.... Geesh well i'm a big type of guy anyways i don't have any trouble steering the machine, even though tough terrian, but as all of us know , no matter how strong you are , you are still going to get that intial torque through the steering system hitting rutts, rocks etc. then have to counter act the action, which a long of that gets tiring , but n e how . thanks for all that 928GT..
i think they have to sell them in pairs. look whats circled in red.

You would think, but a guy on another thread here just bought a set from them and paid the "each" price.

Of course all websites sometimes have errors and you can't force them to sell you at price reflected by a typo mistake.

Regardless I am calling tomorrow, and either they will sell me 4 for $200, or you will probably see the description get changed pretty quickly
dam i wish i had $200 and my own bike right now
