I had the Foreman 500 and my Rincon dyno tuned at mud mania on friday
I will post the actual dyno sheet if anyone is interested. One thing with the foreman 500 is that when they where testing it they Dew point hit and the pressure actually rose so I lost HP but the dyno people said it was only the weather causing it and that I actully picked up HP. These are the final setting. Okay for all you dyno jet fans I must tell you the DJ jets just plain suck. Truegrit sent me a 170 main jet and that is what I have been running. But hwat I have found out is that it was a Mikuni jet. I was a little rich down low on the main and when the bike was run I actually went a little lean on the needle. So they tried a DJ168 main and the bike made no additional HP other than having a fuel air mixture that was right the flow on the main jet was choppy and all over the place. Now the Mikuni jet was a clean nice arce. So they tried a kehien jet and it had the same result as the DJ. They also place 2 small washers under the factory needle to richen the bike a little at higher RPMs. So what they ended up doing was leaving in the 170 main and it was just a little rich. They bike was makeing great power and more torque than HP. But the weather didn't cooperate and I would have had to wait till the next day to have them run it again. But I didn't bother. Bike is makeing a bit over 15 HP and the dyno people have said that with them leaning it out on top some that I probably picked up about 1.5 HP. So I am saying right at 17 HP for the foreman 500. And no I cannot prove that number but I do know it revs alot harder now than when I started.
Okay as for the rincon I had it done also and they spent 2 hours with it costing me $150 for that bike but I got the highest HP reading they have gotten yet out of a rincon. My rincon made 25.5HP at the rear wheels. Also it made a flat 25 Lb FT of torque. Now I must tell you a modded out Brute Force was only putting down 28 Lb FT of torque so no one can say that the rincon isn't makeing power. Now lets get some gears in 'em so we can make that power work.
I will scan in the actual dyno sheets if anyone wants to see them.
