Seems like you've got all the bases covered. I can't think of what else for
you to do.
What depth of water is it dying at, what point on the bike? Does is start back up, do you have to pull it out to start it etc....
are you sure you got every connection perfectly sealed on the snorkel, sure no water is gettin in the carb? I had the connection from the carb to the airbox just a tiny bit off, and as soon as it hit water it would kill it
how does it start back up?
like it runs crappy until you get the gas outta the bowl ?
or does it just fire right up and run normal

option A is water in the bowl
option B is spark dying.

mine did option A and it was the plastic elbow for one of the vents off the carb, it just kinda snaps in toplace and the seal was leaky
letting water in the carb on the side and it would run into the bowl
it went fine in the water for a bit then sputtered and dyed
sealed it up and i can sit and idle to the gas cap .
leave it - walk away - jump on and ride

give us some more details bud ......

If the shop vac hose is flexible , maybe it is collapsing and choking the air intake? Just a thought.
at first it was water getting into the carb bowl but i learnt abotu stoping up the drain on the bottom of the bowl , cause before i fixed that problem i would have to drain the bowl .but after i pluged that up it acts like its somehting around the rear of the seat cause thats about wear it seems like it goes dead at . but when it does i can pull it right out and it'll crank right back up.
I had the same issue on my 05 and I believe it was the spark plug. I dielectic greased it heavily and added my intake snorkel the same weekend and have had no trouble since.

Just a guess.
yup i agree
put die electric grease all over the plug boot
and back by the coil as well
do the power wires as well

let us know how you make out.
MINE WENT DEAD TONIGHT....WATER UP TO RACKS, BUT NO WHERE NEAR SNORK..NO WATER IN AIRBOX OR ANYTHING, ALL WE DID WAS CLEAN PLUG, I PUT MORE GREASE ON IT ANSD FIRED IT UP AND CROSSED THE SLOUGH.... I DONT KNOW???
