i am new to these 4x4 wheelers and was wondering how does the driveshaft pop out? i am not real hard on my wheeler, just some occasional mudding, hauling the ice shack around, and going fast , is this an issue with a lift kit durability/breakage or is it just cuz some people wail that dog poop outta there wheelers the issue about driveshaft issues? also how many miles you guys got on your lifts? any problems ever?

Dan's poppedd out when it was in full drop going over ruts. He was running a lift at the time. His is the only one I have heard of though.
I have 27's on mine with the lift kit and nothing has happened to mine with 25 hrs and 60 miles. It's still brand new, but if that type of stuff happens,it does right away.Poss the problem with Dano's bike could be the 2 diff size Vamps and the big weight diff on the ft 28 Vamps.Poss throwing off the final drive gear ratio and putting the rear diff at a lower angle on the shaft. This is a possability,I don't know him so I don't want anyone mad at me,Just a idea of possibilities!!!

That will definitely cause alot of stress,a Honda pushing out a Ford in sand. When it happened Dano did the rear axle hop alot up and down?Just last weekend I pulled a completely sunken Grizzly out of a canal,I was on hard pack and when I was spinning the rear tires my 500 was jumping up and down off the ground. This kinda concerned me at the time, poss the same situation?I wasn't downing you by the way,You're bike looks awesome and I was just giving a little info.I wish I lived up in you're area so I could ride out with you guys,Your riding styles look just like our group(wet and dirty) THE DIRTY SOUTH !!!

Dano, what stripped out on your's?The output shaft splines in the engine or driveshaft part, honestly i have never taken apart the sealed rear shaft unitfor any repairs,I have done outer wheel bearings in the rear.If this happens can you drive home in ft drive or are you stranded? Thanks for the info,I do alot of pulling out Yami's and my 500 does that mean hop in the rear you're talking about.SORRY 4 LONG CHAT GUY'S
If i get stuck or im pulling something, as soon as it starts hopping around in the back I let off. I just feel like something is gonna break when its doing that.
I do the same thing now Rob,sonnar or later something will give.Sometimes I then restrap and try to pull out someome backwards, due to that I already have a dented in ft plastic bumber cover in the ft.I need a HD ft bumber already,OEM's aren't that strong looking!
