Whats better for all seasons and all terrain includeing water, mud ,snow , sand?

Drum brakes

or

Disc brakes

My 98 Foreman 400 has all drum brakes and they seem to keep all the mud in ,and they seem to be freezing up in the winter.

How much would a kit cost to put disc brakes on my Wheeler
either 2 in the front or all 4.

well if you stay in the mud and water the factory brakes want last long as you have already found out. it requires alot of maintance to keep them in good working condition.

There are 2 kits on the market, the Highlifter front kit and the Xtreme front kit. I have one of each, both are great kits, but the I find the Xtreme better for my type of riding(MUD). it has thicker rotors without slots unlike the HL kit which has thin rotors which has slots cut in them. Not many here run the rear kits, not much of need for them.

As far as a vendor goes, you can go straight to the source to buy them or maybe ebay, they have the kits every now and then at decent prices.
